Can you find Bigfoot?
Does Bigfoot exist? If so, where is it? What influences the number of
sightings? Is Bigfoot just a convenient excuse to explain the
unexplainable? Are there other Bigfeet? Answer these questions and
more by exploring the trend line and map!

Classes
-
Class A reports involve clear sightings where misinterpretation
or misidentification of other animals can be ruled out with greater
confidence.
-
Class B reports are from sightings with poor visibility
either because the observation was done at a great distance, there
were poor weather conditions, or other factors prevented a clear
view.
-
Class C reports are second or third hand reports or stories
with untraceable sources and are considered unreliable.
The data for this visualization was acquired from the
Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.
